Dr. Renaisa Anthony MD, MPH is a Harvard and  University of Chicago trained physician, public health practitioner and innovator.  She founded Momentum Park as her proclaimed "Soulwork & Labor of Love" after working two decades in "traditional" healthcare/academic sectors. Dr.  Anthony was born premature, to a single mother, in one of the poorest zip codes in Detroit and is personally and professionally dedicated to advancing EQUITY & JUSTICE. She is a proud and active fur mom of three Yorkshire Terriers.   

Dr.  Libby Crockett, MD, MPH is a board-certified, practicing Obstetrician & Gynecologist. She is dedicated to advancing equity in pregnancy and birth outcomes amongst rural and refugee populations. As a surgeon, wife and mother of three, she understands the unique demands on working moms. As our medical advisor, Dr. Crockett, ensures we are up-to-date on the clinical state of Ob/Gyn to better serve our moms and providers.

 King Louis XVI is a graduate of UC Bark-ley. He specializes in happiness, capacity building, and overall workplace optimism. King Louis understands that company culture plays a significant role in innovation and a happy team increases productivity. On any given day, you can find him at a Zoom meeting, traveling the nation with our Founder and motivating the team with tail wags, tricks, and kisses. 

Buffy Bush is a dedicated grandmother with a Master's degree in Nonprofit Administration & a Bachelor's degree in Behavorial Science with 15 years of experience in the field.She started a non-profit organization for families that have lost loved ones to violence called FOTS Families of the Stolen. Buffy is a community advocate for violence reduction, grief awareness, youth grief awareness, homicide cold case awareness, health equity, reduction in infant mortality, women empowerment and community togetherness. Buffy says, " I come from a world of pain, struggles and tragedy, but live in a world of blessed triumph. My biggest accomplishment in my journey was learning how to BREATHE."

SHERO OMAHA    

Felicia Howard, B.S./CLC, has over 25 years of experience in Maternal Child Health. She brings a wealth of knowledge as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), Doula, and Perinatal Health Worker. Felicia is passionate about creating a fun, celebratory environment for learning and growth. Outside of work, she is a proud mom of two boys, a loving “Yaya” to mono-mono twins, an athletic granddaughter, and her wonderful bonus grandson. Supporting families is her passion, and she strives to empower others through education and care. 

SHERO NOLA

Jazzlyn Duplessis,  Doula, CBS , is a full spectrum doula, community advocate, childbirth educator and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist with a passion for mothers and families. Ever since she was a child, Jazzlyn knew she wanted to support new and expecting mothers as they transitioned into motherhood. Since becoming a mother herself, Jazzlyn has been able to recognize that support is not a luxury but a necessity that all women deserve. She is committed to giving mothers and families the support and education they need to confidently make decisions in creating the life and family dynamic they aspire to have!

SHERO NOLA 

 Sabrina “Brina” Salazar graduated from Tulane University in 2024 with a BS in Public Health, Psychology, and a triple major in Dance. She is originally from Orlando, Florida, but moved to New Orleans four years ago for school. She runs her own photography business, Photos By Brina Salazar. Brina has been dancing for 11+ years, and she enjoys the workout as well as the artistic expression. Brina was inspired to learn about maternal health by her mother’s stories from being an OBGYN in Florida. Brina is a proud cat mom of an adorable tabby named Cookie Dough. As a Perinatal Health Worker, she hopes to support moms in NOLA and make a difference! 

SHERO NOLA

Maria Teel-Williams is a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and Momentum Park's/SHERO "fairy godmother." She sprinkles fairy dust on all of our team members, partners, moms and babies. Maria is a true "magical fairy" serving multiple roles throughout the organization. Her primary responsibilities include SHERO Mom intake, customer service, team onboarding, human relations, event planning, logistics, graphic design and marketing. She is a passionate health equity advocate with a special interest in creative dissemination of research. Maria is a Baltimore native who loves Ravens football, music, travel and is active in a partner dance community.
